Dr. Anne Le, MD

Raised in Houston, Dr. Le received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Rice University in Houston, with honors in chemistry and psychology. She earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she was valedictorian of her class. Dr. Le completed her residency training in surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she served as chief resident, and underwent fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at The University of Texas Affiliated Hospitals Program. She was an instructor at the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.

Board certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery and General Surgery, she began private practice in 2007. She treats patients 14 years and older. Her special interests include minimally invasive surgery, colon and rectal cancer, anorectal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, and pelvic floor disorders, including fecal incontinence and constipation.

Her favorite part of her job is helping her patients to feel better and find relief from the pain they are experiencing. She strives to provide her patients with a thorough understanding of their conditions and the treatment options available, so they can make well-informed decisions.
