Dr. Preeti Desai, MD

Dr. Preeti Singh Desai earned her medical degree from Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore, India. She completed her residency in internal medicine at North Shore University-LIJ Hospital in New York, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock. She underwent additional training in cardiac imaging at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Dr. Singh, who has been in practice since 2003, is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Her primary clinical interests are coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation (AFib), valvular and structural heart disease, vein disease, women’s health and preventive cardiology. She performs nuclear stress testing, 3-D and 4-D echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, cardiac CT & MRI, vein ablations and transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions.

Dr. Desai believes in preventing heart attacks by using state-of-the-art technology to diagnose early plaque build-up. She helps her patients understand their heart conditions, encourages them to achieve their goals and empowers them to take control of their health.

In her free time, Dr. Desai enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and volunteering in the community.
