Dr. Ping Fai Wong earned his medical degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and did additional training in internal medicine at the New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in New York City. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowships in electrophysiology and interventional cardiology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

In practice since 1987, Dr. Wong is board certified in four areas: interventional cardiology, clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular medicine and internal medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and specializes in cardiovascular disease, clinical cardiac electrophysiology and interventional cardiology.

Dr. Wong has also served as a clinical assistant professor at McGovern Medical School, where he was recognized with three consecutive “Private Faculty of the Year” awards.
