Dr. Prathyusha Savjani, MD

Dr. Prathyusha Savjani earned an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans.

Dr. Savjani is board certified in internal medicine, as well as allergy and immunology. She treats children and adults for the full spectrum of allergic and immunologic conditions, including food allergies, asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, chronic sinus disease, urticaria, angioedema, anaphylaxis and immune deficiencies.

She blends evidence-based medicine with practical, real-world problem solving. Her visits are focused and engaging, with an emphasis on education, transparency and empowering patients to take charge of their health. She doesn’t just treat symptoms; she digs deeper to uncover root causes and guide patients through the next steps with confidence. Patients describe her as a knowledgeable and personable physician who takes time to accurately diagnose problems and explain treatments and options.

A resident of Houston Heights, Dr. Savjani is the mother of two young boys. Outside of work, she enjoys vegetarian cooking, travel and connecting with the community through her Instagram page, where she shares practical, science-backed allergy education with a wider audience.
