She attended the first two years of medical school at Michigan State University and earned her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed a pediatric residency and allergy-immunology fellowship at Ba...

Dr. Duyen Nguyen earned her undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. She attended the first two years of medical school at Michigan State University and earned her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed a pediatric residency and allergy-immunology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine-Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Nguyen treats both adults and children. Her clinical interests include food allergy, asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, urticaria (hives) and immunodeficiency.

Her primary goals as a physician are to provide compassionate care and to be her patients’ strongest medical advocate.

During her training, Dr. Nguyen participated in several volunteer programs, including caring for children with HIV in Botswana, Africa, and treating children of the Navajo Nation, New Mexico.

Dr. Nguyen, was born and raised in Vietnam and immigrated to the U.S. with her family at the age of 18. She is married and the mother of three daughters.
