Susan Herdman, PA-C

Advanced practice provider Susan Herdman is a board-certified physician assistant with extensive experience in orthopedics and occupational medicine. Her clinical interests have always centered on surgical subspecialties that require a "hands-on" approach, including oncology, plastics and orthopedics, as well as occupational medicine.

After studying biology at The University of Texas at Austin, Susan earned a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed a physician assistant post graduate surgical residency at Montefiore Hospital in New York City.

Susan’s approach to care is to treat people the way she wants to be treated and the way she would want her family to be treated. She listens to patients, makes sure that she understands their concerns and questions and explains her recommendations in understandable terms. She wants her patients to feel that she listens, cares, is approachable and answers their questions.
