Ruben Fonseca, PT, DPT

Pierce Fonseca earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from The University of Toledo (Ohio) and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University. He completed the Memorial Hermann Health System Orthopedic Residency Program and currently serves as a faculty member.

Pierce is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. His areas of interest and specialization include sports injuries in adolescent to middle-aged athletes, tendinopathies, hip, knee, ankle/foot, shoulder and athletic spine. A member of Memorial Hermann’s Hip Preservation Program team, Pierce belongs to the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association.

Pierce enjoys hiking with his dog, trying new restaurants around Houston and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturdays.
