Priscilla Corpus, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Advanced practice provider Priscilla Corpus is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) who specializes in family medicine and urgent care. Licensed as an advance practice registered nurse (APRN), she is also certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), basic life support (BLS) and pediatric life support (PALS).

After completing an associate degree in nursing at Victoria College, Priscilla earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Houston-Victoria and her master’s in nursing-family nursing practice from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her nursing background includes extensive experience in urgent care and emergency services, caring for patients with life-threatening conditions including acute cerebrovascular accident, massive trauma, respiratory failure, myocardial infarction and cardiac arrest.

Because Priscilla was drawn to a career in health care by her desire to help others, it stands to reason that her favorite part of practicing is interaction with patients. Her patient-centered approach to care centers on ensuring that patients' needs are met and that all their questions are answered. Her goal is for them to feel that she made their visits as easy as possible and that she explained everything very well at each step.

In her spare time, Priscilla enjoys taking her golden retriever on hiking trails across the country.
