Philip Sheedy, PT, DPT

Phil received a degree in Exercise Science from Northeastern University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical. Phil’s areas of interest and specialization include hip, knee, and sports injuries, and is a member of our Hip Preservation Program Team, Knee Institute Team and Upper Extremity Center of Excellence team.

He has advanced certification/training as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and in Vestibular and Concussion Management. Phil’s Memorial Hermann collaborations include Houston Dynamo/Dash and various university soccer teams.

He is involved in teaching/research involving Hip Preservation/ Soccer Medicine, and has presented research at national meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Phil is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association and serves as Education Chair for the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy Special Interest Group. Phil enjoys playing soccer, skiing, cycling and generally any outdoor activities.
