Melanie Buckner, PT, DPT

Melanie a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. Melanie’s areas of interest and specialization include knee, sports injuries, gymnastics, and is a member of our Knee Institute team. She has advanced certification/training in Dry Needling and as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students.

Melanie’s Memorial Hermann collaborations include Houston Christian University. She is involved in research surrounding Sports-Related Knee Injuries and teaches in Memorial Hermann’s Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency programs.

She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association. Melanie enjoys traveling, exploring Houston coffee shops, and group fitness classes.
