Kimberly Hardy-Sampson is an advanced practice registered nurse who is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C).

A native of Louisiana, Kimberly earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her graduate degree in family nursing practice from Prairie View A&M University. She began her career working as a telemetry-cardiovascular nurse and, since 2012, has been a family nurse practitioner in primary care and urgent care.

Kimberly provides primary care, including physicals, chronic disease management, treatment of acute illness and pediatric services, for patients of all ages. She also performs simple in-office procedures such as skin biopsies, suturing, pap smears and Nexplanon insertions. She has a keen interest in women’s health and mental health services.

A passion for helping others, combined with a lifelong interest in science and the human body, motivated Kimberly to enter the health care field. A provider who is empathic, compassionate and caring, she always puts patients first, keeping in mind words of wisdom from her late mother: to treat every patient like a member of the family.

Her favorite part of practicing medicine is helping patients improve their health. She wants patients to see her as a provider with an easygoing communication style who takes time to listen to their concerns. She believes that listening and educating patients helps them make more informed decisions about their health.

Kimberly is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Married and the mother of two, she enjoys spending her spare time with her family, watching movies, solving crossword puzzles and cooking for her loved ones.
