Keisha Burns, PT, DPT

Keisha Burns earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University and then served 12 years as a physical therapist assistant before obtaining her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

She specializes in the treatment of spine and hip conditions, with additional focus on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Keisha is part of the Memorial Hermann Spine Program and Hip Preservation team and is Level I Schroth-Based BSPTS certified for the treatment of patients with scoliosis.

Keisha is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and serves as a mentor in both Memorial Hermann’s Spine and Manual Therapy Fellowship and Orthopedic Residency programs.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, working out and giving back to the community with her sons through the Young Men’s Service League.
