Jessie Nicole Ferrell, PA-C

Advanced practice provider Jessica Ferrell is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in obstetrics/gynecology. She is certified by the American Heart Association in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS).

After earning her undergraduate degree in human biology at the University of Michigan-Flint, she completed her physician assistant studies at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant. She has been a physician assistant since 2015.

Her focus is obstetrics/gynecology, including irregular menstrual cycles, well woman exams, managing abnormal pap smears, birth control, sexual dysfunction, urinary tract infections, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, fibroids, infertility evaluations and therapies for urinary incontinence. She is also interested in preventive medicine and lifestyle medicine.

She is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Association of Physician Associate in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Obesity Medicine Association.

Drawn to health care by a desire for a career that made a difference in people’s lives, Jessica chose OB/GYN as a specialty after becoming a mom and experiencing challenging and uncomfortable changes postpartum. She focuses on patient-centered care: respecting the patients' values, providing evidence-based patient education and collaborating with patients and their teams of health care providers to establish a customized care plan.

Jessica wants her patients to see her as a good listener who is kind and able to validate their concerns. Her greatest reward comes from being able to discuss uncomfortable female-related health problems with her patients and working together to find solutions.

A resident of Spring, Jessica is married and the mother of a son and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, meal prepping, exercising, and traveling.
