Jean Cho, PA-C

Board-certified physician assistant Jean Cho, who has been in practice since 2014, has substantial experience in emergency and urgent care settings. She earned her undergraduate degree in health science at State University of New York-Stonybrook and her master’s in physician assistant studies at Touro College in Bayshore, New York.

Her primary clinical interests are general pediatric and adult medicine, outpatient acute urgent care and evidence-based medicine. She speaks fluent Korean and conversational Spanish.

When she was in high school, Jean’s strong interest in the health sciences, partnered with her desire to help people heal, led her to becoming a health care provider. She concluded that if she could help people while also doing something that she loves, it would give her life great meaning.

She approaches patient care by looking at the whole person--treating each as an individual and taking time to listen. She wants her patients to know that she cares about them and wants to provide excellent care. She also wants patients to see her as compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable and honest.

Jean’s favorite part of practicing medicine is knowing that she’s making a difference when she can give patients the reassurance they need, deliver evidence-based medicine to help them, and know that they walk out feeling and getting better.

A resident of Manvel, Jean is the mother of two active boys. Her favorite hobbies are spending quality time with her family, being outdoors and traveling. She is also a foodie who loves to cook and try new foods.
