Gail Zitterkopf, PT, DPT, CLT

Gail Zitterkopf earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and her doctorate in physical therapy from Northern Arizona University. She holds an Integrative Health and Lifestyle and Integrative Health Coaching Certificate (iCoach) from the University of Arizona, is certified in Pelvic Muscle Dysfunction Biofeedback and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

Gail specializes in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor, prenatal and post-partum conditions with a focus on gynecological oncology as well as gender confirmation. She is the Memorial Hermann Pelvic Floor Program manager and pediatric pelvic floor team lead for congenital conditions such as vesicoureteral reflux, Hirschsprung’s disease and imperforate anus.

She also specializes in other conditions, including constipation and nocturia in children. Her approach to physical therapy is to develop care plans that allow children and their families to achieve their goals through play.

Gail is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Ehlers-Danlos Society and Texas Physical Therapy Association. Since 2016, she has served as the Government Affairs Chair for the Academy of Pelvic Health.
