Dr. Emily Gardner received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern School of Health Professions and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. Dr. Gardner’s areas of interest and specialization include hip preservation, knee pathologies, and sports injuries. Emily is the coordinator of the Hip Preservation Program.
She has advanced certification and training in Dry Needling and Manual Therapy. She leads research involving Hip Preservation and has presented at national meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Gardner is a faculty member of the Memorial Hermann Physical Therapy residency programs.
Emily is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, working out and attending collegiate sporting events.
