Dustin Bessire earned an undergraduate degree in kinesiology from Sam Houston State University, a master’s degree in physical therapy from Angelo State University, a doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University and a master’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy.
His areas of interest and specialization include orthopedic and sports injuries in the adolescent to middle-aged athlete. A fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapists, he has advanced certification and training in strength and conditioning.
Dustin serves as a faculty member and mentor for Memorial Hermann's Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy Residency and the Spine and Manual Therapy Fellowship programs. He is also a member of Memorial Hermann's Hip Preservation Program team.
Away from his practice, he enjoys collegiate sports, weightlifting, hunting, fishing and spending time with family.
