Dianne Sepulvado graduated from Elizabethtown College in 1986 with a BS in Occupational therapy. She initially worked in a Psychiatric setting with adolescents who had behavioral disorders and substance abuse issues. The next few years were spent working in general rehabilitation with a variety of patient diagnoses inclusive of CVA, brain injuries, amputees, and spinal cord injuries.
1990, she transitioned to working solely with upper extremity injuries and was fortunate enough to work at Houston Hand Rehabilitation Center. In 1993, she became a certified hand therapist. A move to Phoenix, Arizona provided a unique opportunity to perform on-site therapy for companies such as Motorola, Boeing, and On-Site Semi-conductor. Eventually, she found her way back to Houston. Since that time, she has worked for numerous entities before being acquired by Memorial Hermann.
With Memorial Hermann, she has had the opportunity to become the Hand therapy manager for 16 outpatient clinics. One of her biggest accomplishments has been the initiation and accreditation of a Hand Therapy fellowship program through AOTA.
