Amanda Arnold, PT, DPT, PhD

Amanda Arnold earned a degree in exercise science from the University of South Carolina and a doctorate in physical therapy from Texas Woman’s University and completed a sports residency with Texas Health-Fort Worth. She is a board-certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy.

Her areas of interest include shoulder and elbow injuries and rehabilitation, particularly in overhead, youth and female athletes. She is involved in several teaching and research projects focusing on shoulder and elbow injuries, the impact of gender on sports performance and injury risk.

Amanda, a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society, chairs the Education Committee Chair of the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists. An experienced clinician, she serves as an associate professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, history and mystery shows and spending time with her family.
