Memorial Hermann Health System is excited to announce the grand opening of Memorial Hermann Sports Park-Cypress, a new comprehensive sports medicine and human performance facility on the campus of Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital. The 50,000 square foot facility is a collaboration between Memorial Hermann and Athlete Training and Health (ATH) to provide a full range of medical care and athletic training for professional athletes, youth athletes, and active adults.

“Cypress is rapidly growing and we are thrilled to bring this state-of-the-art facility to the community,” said Jerry Ashworth, senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann Cypress & Katy Hospitals. “There has been significant success with similar facilities in both Katy and Pearland, so we know the full range of athletes in Cypress will benefit from having this type of facility in the community. Having this facility on our campus allows us to expand our capabilities to provide training, wellness, and educational services all in one location.”

The facility hosts a Memorial Hermann | Rockets Sports Medicine Institute clinic, physicians with sports medicine training, and an ATH training center with an adult fitness space, pro-style weight room and an indoor turf field for performance training. The facility has an outdoor turf field to host a variety of community sports leagues including soccer, football and lacrosse.

“Our programs are carefully crafted using the latest science and medical expertise,” said Greg Centilli, Chief Operations Officer of ATH. “Because of our adherence to these proven protocols, we deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for athletes and adults of all ages.”

In addition to Memorial Hermann Sports Park-Cypress, Memorial Hermann Cypress recently announced a $277.5 million expansion project which includes a new six-story patient tower.
