Internal Medicine Specialist Altaf Karim, MD, Podiatrist James Kutchback, DPM, Primary Care Sports Medicine Specialist Alysia Robichau, MD, Endocrinologist Annie Thomas, MD, and Family Medicine Specialists Jeffrey Sweeney, MD and Alfred Andrew Boyd IV, MD, have joined Memorial Hermann Medical Group on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center.

Dr. Karim, who has been voted a Top Doc by H Texas Magazine for the past three years, completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center, Foster G. McGaw Hospital, and Hines VA Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Karim is currently an attending physician at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital. His clinical focuses are on cardiology, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes and obesity.
Dr. Kutchback earned his DPM from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Florida, where he gained extensive experience in foot surgery and wound treatment. Dr. Kutchback is a board member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation and the President of the Harris County Podiatric Medical Foundation. Dr. Kutchback specializes in foot and ankle surgery, reconstructive surgery, wound care, trauma, Achilles tendon ruptures, arthritis, foot deformities and diabetic foot care. Dr. Kutchback also educates his patients on how to prevent issues by using proper footwear and teaching preventative measures for podiatric health.
Dr. Robichau earned her Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University and her Medical Degree from UT Medical School at San Antonio. She completed her Family Practice residency in Austin and completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Lone Star Sports Medicine in Tomball, Texas. Dr. Robichau is board-certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine and has served as a team physician for high school and college teams. Dr. Robichau treats all primary care needs, and enjoys treating musculoskeletal concerns, concussions, fractures and other sports medicine needs. She also works with patients to provide exercise prescription, injury prevention, pre-participation screenings, and weight loss through exercise consultations.
Dr. Thomas is board-certified in Endocrinology and has been in practice for eight years. She comes from a family with a history of diabetes, which influenced both her decision to practice medicine as well as the subspecialty she chose to pursue. She received her Endocrinology training from Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. During her residency training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Thomas was honored to serve as chief resident at the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey. Her clinical interests are diabetes, thyroid, parathyroid, cholesterol, osteoporosis, and ovarian and testicular diseases and disorders. She treats patients 18 years and older.
Dr. Sweeney has been practicing medicine for eleven years, completing his residency in 1999 at Kaiser Permanente in Riverside, CA, where he also served as Chief Resident. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Dartmouth College, and his Medical degree at the University of Southern California. Prior to working in The Woodlands, Dr. Sweeney spent four years in the military as a family medicine physician. He sees patients of all ages - from birth to geriatrics.
Dr. Boyd completed his Medical Degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, and his residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and his clinical interests are men's health, pediatrics, sports medicine and counseling for depression and anxiety. He sees patients 12-months and older. A native of Clear Lake, Texas, Dr. Boyd first practiced medicine in Atlanta for four years before returning to Texas in 2008.
