HUMBLE, TEXAS (October 15, 2014)

Orthopedic Surgeon Michael C. Cusick, MD has joined the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital.

Cusick, a UT Physician who completed a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute, is affiliated with Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute and on the faculty of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. A graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, he completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Campbell Clinic at the University of Tennessee.

In addition to treating the full array of sports-related athletic injuries and managing chronic orthopedic conditions, Cusick joins UT Physicians Wasyl Fedoriw, MD; George Ozoude, MD; and Shaun Weaver, MD as team physicians for the Humble, New Caney, and Sheldon Independent School districts to provide medical coverage during football games and other sporting events. In partnership with area student athletic school programs, they also provide medical support to Northeast Christian School, Kingwood and the Humble Area Youth Football Leagues, and Kingwood Youth Lacrosse.
