HOUSTON, TX (April 30, 2015)

MS150 2015Despite the severe weather that led to the cancellation of Day 1 of the BP MS 150, more than 100 riders from Memorial Hermann participated on April 19, making the journey from La Grange to the finish line at the State Capitol and raising close to $110,000. The monies raised from the bike ride will be used to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic disease of the central nervous system that affects thousands of people each year.

Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center CEO and Bellaire resident Paul O’Sullivan (far left) made the event a family affair and completed the ride with five family members, including his father, brother, brother-in-law and two nephews. The family was racing in support of a cousin recently diagnosed with MS.

Congratulations to all the riders who finished the race!
