Vivien Bond has been named the new Vice President of Operations at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, bringing with her nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She most recently served as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Research for Memorial Hermann Health System, where she managed the development of strategic initiatives and the planning process for Memorial Hermann business units.
“Vivien has a strong track record of utilizing her insight to improve hospital operations, and I believe she will be an asset to our already strong leadership team at Memorial Hermann Katy. I am excited to see the new heights we will achieve with Vivien joining the team,” says Heath Rushing, Sr. Vice President and CEO of Memorial Hermann Katy and Cypress hospitals.
Prior to her Strategic Planning role, Bond worked at Memorial Hermann Northeast as a Service Line Administrator and Director of Marketing, Planning, Medical Staff Services and Physician Recruitment. Before joining Memorial Hermann, she led operations as Chief Executive Officer for Select Specialty Hospitals in Houston and in Conroe.

Bond is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in business from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. She also holds a certificate in Healthcare Management from Rice University.
Bond will officially join Memorial Hermann Katy on March 18.
