For the second year in a row, members of Kingsland Baptist Church’s Serendipity Adult Bible Fellowship surprised employees at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital with lunch. Nearly 200 employees dined on sandwiches and beverages courtesy of the church. It was all part of Kingsland Baptist’s Caring for Katy Day. In its eighth year, Caring for Katy Day – the first Sunday in March – is a time for church members to serve their neighbors. “I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Kingsland Baptist Church for their benevolent gesture towards Memorial Hermann Katy. I am fortunate to have met an extraordinary group of people,” said Chris Scott, who serves on the hospital’s security team.
