HOUSTON (December 05, 2008)

Radio personalities with hospital CEORadio station MIX 96.5 FM worked with Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital and the Memorial Hermann Foundation on December 5, 2008 to raise over $32,000 in funds to build an onsite pediatric respiratory gym at the hospital. Listeners called in and donated money to hear songs they requested.

"We are so grateful to MIX 96.5 and to everyone who called in to donate, as well as to everyone who supported us in putting the event together," says Craig Cordola, CEO of Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. "Having a pediatric respiratory gym at Children's will mean a lot to our patients, their families and our staff. The child-sized equipment will be more comfortable and better suited for children, and will help make the therapy sessions seem more like fun than work."

This is the second year that the radio station and Children's Memorial Hermann have worked together to raise money to support the Campus.
