On October 3, 2013, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital joyfully celebrated the births of four healthy brothers to Sugar Land’s Aggour Family. According to the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Club (NOMOTC), in 2011 there were a total of 3,953,590 births, 239 of which were quadruplet births. With so few quadruplet births, the Aggour identical triplets Deen, Kareem and Omar along with singleton Saif definitely beat the odds.
“Hearing that we were having quadruplets was definitely a shocking surprise,” said Tamir Aggour, father. “But, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital’s clinical staff carefully guided our family through to the safe arrival of these blessings. Dr. Gei is supremely competent and also takes his time with his patients, and his medical expertise combined with his supportive approach and genuine concern for the wellbeing of my wife and our babies helped guide us through the pregnancy.”
“The hospital’s staff has been excellent!” said Marwa Farrag, mother. “We fell in love with our physicians and nurses in labor and delivery and with the staff in the NICU. The highly-trained nurses have been wonderful teachers, providing us with a wealth of information. We couldn’t have asked for better care and everybody has been very warm and friendly.”
Mom and Dad look forward to their sons growing up together and providing constant entertainment for one another, under their big sister's supervision of course.
