Bryan Lee, CPA, MBA, has been named Vice President of Finance for Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center (TMC), effective March 28. Lee has extensive experience overseeing hospital finances while continuing to champion expansions of much-needed services and facilities. That skillset is critical at Memorial Hermann-TMC, as the Campus currently is undertaking a $650 million renovation and expansion project to better serve a growing patient population in the most cost-effective manner possible.
“We are thrilled Bryan has agreed to join our team here at Memorial Hermann-TMC,” said Brian Dean, Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Campus. “Highly respected in his field, he’s a strong leader with a proven track record of bolstering hospitals’ financial and operational results while promoting growth. He has demonstrated success in formulating business plans and budget strategies to facilitate the expansion of healthcare services to the communities these hospitals serve.”
In his new role, Lee will be accountable for all financial operations at the Memorial Hermann-TMC Campus – which includes Memorial Hermann-TMC, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and Memorial Hermann Orthopedic & Spine Hospital. He will oversee all financial management, reporting and analysis, financial support of strategic development initiatives and hospital financial controls.

With 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Lee has a diverse résumé that includes several leadership roles assumed throughout his career. Prior to joining Memorial Hermann-TMC, Lee served as Chief Financial Officer for Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, where he was closely involved with establishing the first Level II trauma center in Houston, among other accomplishments. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for several other institutions including: Kingwood Medical Center, Northwest Health System and the Medical Center of Southwest Louisiana.
Lee is an esteemed member of several professional organizations promoting the financial industry, including the Healthcare Financial Managers Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a dedicated volunteer, serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lake Houston YMCA and devoting his time to help young people with Junior Achievement, a national nonprofit committed to helping educate students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Western Kentucky University and his Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
