Memorial Hermann Health System is proud to announce that Amanda Hammel, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2025 ‘Women in Health IT to Know’ list.
According to Becker’s, the list honors women who use technology to drive meaningful change by streamlining administrative processes, enhancing care delivery, standardizing workflows and elevating overall system efficiency.
Hammel was selected for her leadership of Memorial Hermann’s multi-year Epic electronic health record rollout, support of AI governance and development of disaster recovery planning. She leads a 500-member IT team supporting more than 57,000 users across 270 care delivery sites.
