Amalia M. Stanton, senior vice president, chief strategic communications and marketing officer for Memorial Hermann Health System, has been selected as one of CKW LUXE’s Top 20 Impact Maker Awards honorees for 2024.
The CKW LUXE’s Impact Maker award recognizes those in the community who are generous in their support of others, dedicated to improving lives and living conditions, and devoted to finding better ways of helping.
“Amalia is dedicated to driving positive change in Greater Houston, both through the initiatives she leads to help transform care in the communities we serve and in her commitment to the organizations she supports,” said David L. Callender, MD, president and CEO of Memorial Hermann.
A prominent leader in health care marketing and communications, Stanton oversees strategic communications as well as marketing and branding for Memorial Hermann, one of southeast Texas’ largest nonprofit health systems. During her more than 15-year tenure, Stanton has driven growth and brand awareness, and helped build the health system’s reputation as a leading, trusted, high-quality health care provider in Greater Houston and across the nation. Stanton also co-leads Memorial Hermann’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Community Council.
“I’m honored to be recognized together with this group of talented individuals who are making a difference in our community,” Stanton said. “I am proud to be a part of Memorial Hermann’s journey to redefine health care and equally as passionate about helping our organization realize its vision to create healthier communities, now and for generations to come.”
Stanton supports many organizations outside of Memorial Hermann, including serving on the executive leadership team of the March of Dimes Houston Board of Directors and the Houston Holocaust Museum Advisory Board.
