The Memorial Hermann Mischer Neuroscience Institute at the Texas Medical Center (MNI) encourages you to participate in the 2016 Rock ‘N’ Stroll for Epilepsy presented by the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas.

The Rock ‘N’ Stroll for Epilepsy is a fun-filled day with activities and music. All funds raised will be used to ensure that those affected by epilepsy will have access to all of the programs and services provided by the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas.

According to the Epilepsy Foundation, one in 26 people in the United States will be diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime. It is the most common neurological condition in children and third most common in adults after Alzheimer’s disease and stroke.

The event will take place at the Houston Zoo on Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Registration will take place the day of the event, starting at 6:45 a.m. To register in advance, please visit the Rock ‘N’ Stroll website.
