Dr. Kevin Nickell, MD

Dr. Kevin Nickell earned his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston.  He underwent surgery training at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut and completed his urology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he also completed a fellowship in neurourology and voiding dysfunction, neurourology and female urology.

Board certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Nickell has practiced general male and female urology in southwest Houston since 1996 and has clinical interests in circumcision, impotence, incontinence, kidney stones, bladder and kidney cancer, neurology, erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, vasectomy.  He utilizes the latest technologies in treating his patients, including laser surgery, robotic-assisted surgery and robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy.

Dr. Nickell is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, diplomat in the American  Board of Urology and maintains membership in American Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as well as local, state and national urologic societies. He has been named to Texas Monthly’s “Best Doctors” list annually since 2004.

He and his wife have four children and reside in Bellaire.
