Dr. Laurie Hogarth, MD

Dr. Laurie Hogarth earned her undergraduate degree at the University of North Texas in Denton and her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She also completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at UTMB, where she was chief resident and an assistant instructor.

Dr. Hogarth is board certified in pediatrics and also holds certifications in basic life support and pediatric advanced life support. She sees patients through age 18 for acute and preventive care, as well as chronic conditions such as asthma and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Her clinical interests include taking care of premature and multiple babies, developmental issues and complex medical care such as cardiac and neurological conditions.

Her approach to patient care focuses on pairing a good listening ear with explaining things in an understandable way. That combination creates a collaborative effort with the patient and parents to arrive at an optimum treatment plan.

Dr. Hogarth is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the Harris County Medical Society. She lives in Missouri City.
