Dr. Lauren Spoo, MD

A native of Florida, Dr. Lauren Spoo earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her medical degree from Florida Atlantic University Schmidt College of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

In practice in the Houston area since 2016, Dr. Spoo has primary clinical interests that include birth control/contraception, hormone replacement, hysterectomy, hysteroscopic surgery, incontinence, laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic surgery, menopause, minimally invasive surgery, dysfunctional bleeding, pregnancy, infertility, pelvic pain, robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy and adolescent gynecology. She treats patients of all ages and speaks Spanish.

Dr. Spoo’s practice is characterized by empathetic and passionate care. She has advanced surgical training in both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Her practice offers multiple in-office procedures, including robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery.
