Dr. Jennifer Whitelock, MD

Dr. Jennifer Whitelock was born in New York and grew up in Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Harvard University, followed by a master’s in public health and a medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. She completed her residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, where she was a chief resident during her fourth year.

Dr. Whitelock has been in practice since 2013. In addition to general obstetrics and gynecology, her special clinical interests include robotic surgery and other minimally invasive procedures.

An advocate for women’s health, she aims to build a compassionate relationship with her patients through mutual respect and honest communication. She believes that healthy habits such as physical activity and good nutrition yield benefits to overall wellbeing, and she enjoys helping women discover creative ways to be active and balanced. Her patients describe her as a knowledgeable and caring physician who listens to them and doesn’t rush through appointments.

When she’s away from her practice, Dr. Whitelock enjoys exploring Houston, traveling to oceanside destinations and learning new line dances.
