Dr. Murtaza Arif is a graduate of Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and did fellowship training in gastroenterology at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
In practice since 2005, Dr. Arif is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He treats adult patients (18 and older) and speaks Urdu and Hindi. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).
Dr. Arif specializes in treating all gastrointestinal diseases including acid reflux/heartburn, celiac disease, peptic ulcer disease, irritable bowel disease (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hemorrhoids, gallstone and biliary diseases.
