Dr. Douglas Stanley earned his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University and his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), where he also completed his residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery.

In practice since 2009, Dr. Stanley is board certified in otolaryngology. He provides general ear-nose-throat (ENT) services for patients of all ages. Dr. Stanley’s primary clinical interest is minimally invasive, office-based procedures for the nose and sinuses. He treats thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland diseases, laryngeal disorders, ear infections, tonsil and adenoid diseases, and conditions of the nose and paranasal sinuses. He also evaluates hearing loss, dizziness, tinnitus and related conditions.

Dr. Stanley’s patients rate him highly on the thoroughness of his examinations and his positive attitude, as well as his ability to answer questions and provide clear instructions. They also give him high marks for including them in care and treatment decisions.

Dr. Stanley is an assistant professor of otorhinolaryngology at McGovern Medical School.

He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.
