This education service is designed for temporary or permanent colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy whether new ostomate learning to care for their stoma, or an existing ostomate with new complications. Certified ostomy nurses provide education to patients and caregivers on product selection, how to order products, how to prevent and care for skin issues. Our goal is to ensure that ostomates have right resources to find supplies for their unique situation. Our services can enroll ostomates in the appropriate vendor program which provides samples and 24-7 ostomy nurse access.
