After graduating magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University, Dr. Rachel Kelt received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She went on to complete her pediatric residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in the Texas Medical Center in Houston.

Board eligible in pediatrics, Dr. Kelt treats patients from newborn to 18 years of age for sick visits as well as preventive medicine, such as immunizations and wellness checkups. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, including health and fitness, as well as teaching parents and children the proper skills to live healthy lives.

Dr. Kelt’s patients in the Texas Medical Center enjoy her warm personality and genuine concern about their overall wellbeing. She focuses on being a support system for her patients and their families. She recognizes that the ultimate goal for all is to raise happy and healthy children.
