Dr. Andrzej Janecki, MD

Andrzej J. Janecki, MD, received his medical degree and his PhD in physiology in Poznan, Poland. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at The University

of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School and fellowship in gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Janecki served as an instructor of gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins and as an assistant professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth.

Board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr. Janecki practices general gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition and his clinical interests include inflammatory bowel and diarrheal diseases.

The author or co-author of more than forty research articles and several book chapters, Dr. Janecki enjoys nature photography and music.
