Dr. Ana Phan earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed her residency at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma.
Dr. Phan, a board-certified family medicine specialist, sees patients of all ages and speaks Vietnamese and basic Spanish. She has certifications in basic life support (BLS), advanced trauma life support (ATLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and etonogestrel implantation.
She treats a variety of chronic and acute medical conditions, and her primary clinical interests are diabetes, hypertension, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression and many varieties of mental illness, as well as in-office procedures such as joint injections, bedside ultrasound, ingrown toenail removal and skin biopsies.
Dr. Phan’s practice philosophy centers on treating patients as family, and she sees herself as their guide in the world of medicine. She works collaboratively with her patients to formulate an individualized care plan that incorporates both their treatment goals and evidence-based medicine.
