Dr. Abhilash Davlapur, MD

Abhilash Davlapur, MD, is a family medicine and sports medicine physician treating newborn patients and older. He earned his medical degree from the American University of Antigua. He then completed his family medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. In addition to being board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), he has a Certificate of added Qualification in Sports Medicine (CAQSM).

Dr. Davlapur provides care for non-operative orthopaedic needs such as arthritis of the knee, hip, shoulder, other joints and sports related injuries, such as strains, pulls and concussions, as well as wellness and preventive medicine. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal injury management, return to sport and exercise management. Additionally, he provides care for acute and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension, hypothyroidism, weight loss, provides exercise prescriptions, amongst others. In addition, he specializes in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound guided procedures and numerous office based procedures including US guided MSK joint and soft tissue injections: including knee, hip, shoulder, hand, elbow, foot, carpal tunnel, trigger finger, PRP, IUDs, Nexplanon, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, I&D abscesses, lipomas/cyst excisions, ingrown toe nail removals, fracture care, laceration repairs, and trigger point injections.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and has a dog. He particularly enjoys playing basketball, hiking, traveling, watching sports and playing video games. He is passionate about what he does and is dedicated to helping meet all of his patients needs.
