Karine Zuma, PA-C

Karine Zuma, PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant at Memorial Hermann Medical Group Southwest Cardiology. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with honors from Long Island University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.

Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Karine collaborates with Memorial Hermann Medical Group cardiologists to provide comprehensive cardiac care. Karine provides a wide range of services, including treatment for cardiac conditions such as atrial fibrillation, hypertension, congestive heart failure and coronary artery disease. Her clinical interests include coronary artery disease. In addition, she performs both exercise and nuclear stress tests.

Providing compassionate care is the foundation of Karine’s practice. She ensures all her patients are informed on their medical condition and understand and agrees with the proposed treatment plan.

In Karine’s spare time, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her family.
