Dana Brooks received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Texas State University. Her areas of interest and specialization include hip, knee and sports injuries. She is a member of our hip preservation program team. Dana has advanced training and is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. She is involved in research regarding hip preservation and is involved with our orthopedic residency program as a site coordinator in Cypress and adjunct faculty for both sport and orthopedic programs.
Dana is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Texas Physical Therapy Association and serves as a clinical instructor and mentor for both orthopedic and sport residents. She enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her husband and children while spending time outdoors. She enjoys a variety of exercise forms, from weightlifting to HIIT, and homebrewing with her husband.
