Dr. Brendel received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas. He attended medical school and completed his internship training in internal medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Brendel realizes the importance of getting to know his patients and their goals.  He believes in actively listening and acknowledging each trial and triumph during the rehabilitation process. With a clinical interest in neurorehabilitation, Dr. Brendel takes a team approach to optimize his patients’ outcomes.

Away from the office, Dr. Brendel likes spending time with his family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing and sports.
