Dr. Jacob Worsham earned a degree in Biochemistry from Saint Louis University and a medical degree from The University of Oklahoma. While fulfilling his orthopaedic surgery residency in Jacksonville, Florida, he had the opportunity to train at Mayo Clinic, the University of Florida, and Nemours Children's Clinic. This experience exposed him to a wide level of musculoskeletal conditions and treatments for all age groups.
Additionally, Dr. Worsham completed a specialized sports medicine and arthroscopic fellowship at the University of Texas Houston. In his time there, he had comprehensive hands-on experience in sports medicine treating a range of high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. This experience allowed him to serve as the assistant team physician for the Houston Astros, Houston Texas, Houston Rockets, Houston Dynamo, and the University of Houston Cougars.
Dr. Worsham's clinical interests include general orthopedics and arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle. From arthritis to fractures, he is happy to offer personalized treatment options and information based on each patient's needs.
