Patients and Caregivers Gather to Celebrate Graduation from Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospitals’ Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Former patients and caregivers recently gathered at Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital to celebrate the graduation of dozens of children from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The March 3rd event celebrated the progress of all the children who were treated and released from the NICU.

Attendees were encouraged to wear their favorite superhero costume while enjoying activities like a photo booth, face painting and games. The event was also an opportunity for caregivers to share their experiences with one another.

Since the hospital’s opening in March 2017, the hospital has treated 112 babies in the NICU. Memorial Hermann Cypress is currently undergoing the process of being designated by the state as a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
