Dr. Ruhi Soni, MD

Native Houstonian Dr. Ruhi Singh Soni earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she also completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology.

Dr. Soni, who is board certified in ophthalmology, has been in practice since 2007. Her primary clinical interests include cataract surgery and LASIK refractive surgery. She treats adolescent and adult patients and also speaks Hindi, Punjabi and Spanish.

Quality, personalized care is the focus of Dr Soni’s practice, which offers technologic experience in refractive and cataract surgery. She values the unique needs of patients, gets to know them, develops personal relationships and treats them like family members.

Dr. Soni is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the board of trustees for The Lighthouse of Houston, a non-profit dedicated to helping visually impaired people thrive independently in the community.

A resident of Houston, Dr. Soni is married to a urologist, and they are the parents of three children, including a set of twins. Away from the office, her favorite leisure activity is hanging out with her kids.
