Dr. Kelly Larkin, who grew up in The Woodlands, earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Texas A&M University. She received her medical degree and finished a residency in ophthalmology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). She completed her fellowship in uveitis and ocular immunology at Casey Eye Institute at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Ore.

Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Larkin has been in practice since 2007. She specializes in medical and surgical management of patients with uveitis, scleritis, orbital inflammation and other inflammatory and infectious eye conditions. She also performs cataract surgery, with an emphasis on cataracts secondary to uveitis.

Dr. Larkin is involved in research on current and novel therapies for uveitis; serves as an expert reviewer in the field of uveitis for international medical journals; contributes content for ophthalmology textbooks; and lectures to local ophthalmology and rheumatology residents on topics relating to uveitis and ocular immunology. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Uveitis Society, Association for Vision and Research in Ophthalmology, Harris County Medical Society, Houston Ophthalmological Society, Texas Medical Association and Texas Ophthalmological Association.

Dr. Larkin is married to an emergency medicine physician. Her favorite leisure activities are baking, reading and spending time with her daughter.
