Dr. Bassem Maximos, MD

Dr. Bassem Maximos earned his undergraduate degree at La Sierra University in Riverside, Calif., and his medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his internship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and his residency at Rutgers University's Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Dr. Maximos, who is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, has been in practice in League City since 2007. He treats patients ages 12 and older and also speaks Spanish and Arabic. His primary clinical interests are minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomy, menopausal health, hormone replacement therapy, hormone replacement alternatives and high-risk and low-risk obstetrical care. He has extensive experience in pregnancy issues, including hypertensive disorders, diabetes, preterm labor and multiple gestation, and is skilled in operative deliveries and cesarean sections.

He is committed to providing innovative healthcare delivery through a broad-based approach that spans a woman's reproductive through post-menopausal years. His small practice allows him to get to know his patients and provide personalized care. Patients appreciate that he listens to them and genuinely cares about them and their needs.

A resident of Seabrook, Dr. Maximos is married and the father of a daughter and a son. In his leisure time, he enjoys sailing, soccer, travelling and reading.
